Just wanted to update everyone. It appears the running pump had something to do with my water heater. I had a feeling that might have been the case, as I've been taking cold showers all summer but the other day, I decided to take a hot shower. The problem started after I heated my tank.
Today, I flushed out my water heater, as I read it is good to do this every so often, especially in places where there is hard water. So I dumped and flushed the water heater. Filled it back up. And haven't heard the pump run since. Hmm.. maybe the the pressure relief valve was leaking a bit? Maybe it was just running little by little trying to top off the water tank? Not exactly sure but it seems the problem has been resolved. So happy there were no hidden leaks!! Thanks to everyone for taking the time to help. I always learn so much from everyone on here! Don't know what I'd do without you all!
