Has anyone done this? Placed a flat water tank on the storage platform in the crew cab when you may need to have extra water. Use a small pump to transfer to the TC tank when needed. If it was flat...

I am dismayed...I had no idea that the new TC's had so much water tankage...so if I added the 20 gallon extra tank my capacity that would be in between both of you. Actually I was thinking about the idea of going to burning man and needing the water. 99% of the time I have done very well with my meager 35 gallons. But still think it is a good idea, but maybe some $15 5 gallon water jugs like on coolers would do the job and could actually be easier to fill than a fixed tank...thanks for stimulating the thought process.
