High altitude will lower temperature at which water will boil due to lower atmospheric pressure. It may boil at 200 or less. That is why things such as pasta take longer to cook in boiling water at high altitudes.
Right on the money. Plus, stoves in older RV's may not be as robust as those in newer rigs. We found this out the hard way in our old Coleman pop-up. It took FOREVER to prepare our lobster dinner............
