Waterproofing

If you think about it even glass, which we all know is water tight, will connect condensation. Many ways to reduce the problem mentioned on this forum. Most are helpful in reducing. I have virtually eliminated the entire problem with a water collecting dehumidifier unit. I can collect three gallons of water from the air in twelve hours. I can even dry clothing by hanging it in the bathroom. Not sure why this is not a standard option in all hybrids. Problem solved.Unless you are boondocking this really works

Popup portal has StarCraft manuals. Any water on the inside of the roof is condensation.

Do not treat the roof. StarCraft manual states only the side flaps can be treated.

Although I might use it on an out of warranty canvas or just on old one. Just on the roof though. I think painting canvas is fine if not folded after it dries. Picasso seems to think painting canvas was O.K. but it's stretched and never never folded.

did you have the furnace on during this time? or was the trailer sealed up?

Starcrafts had Aqualon canvas so it seems hard to believe that water was permeating the fabric and more likely to be condensation.

I've had issues on just the covers for the screens, water seems to leech through when we get heavy rain. This may be due to the reflectix I put it there when it's cold, at least that's the best guess I've got. I used Aqua Armour and had no problems this year, time will tell how long it works for. I applied it both inside and out when I did it. Best would be asking Starcraft, the fabric is Aqualon 7.

Aqualon has pigmented vinyl resin on the top side. Center a two ply polyester of 9 oz. The underside is coated with a water resistant finish. The 7 stands for the 7 year warranty.

If the tent material is actually a canvas, then use a good waterproofing solution you buy in cans. If it's one of the newer fabrics that's a blend of ??, then you should get some help from Starcraft or a Starcraft dealer as they can tell you what is reccommended for treating/maintaining that fabric.
