We have a Wave 3 installed in our Avion camper. Here is the way we did it:

It is placed on a door where it can be removed and placed on top of the counter. It has, if I remember correctly, a 6 foot hose on a quick connect. I placed a SS sheet on the cabinet wall just to make sure that there would be less heat transfer when we put the Wave away.
We have used it quite a bit, but for some reason I haven't found it real comfortable. It acts like a spot light in terms of its heating - it warms up wherever its pointing unlike a furnace that heats the air.
Even though I carefully open vents, my Co2 detector goes off all the time. Part of the problem I discovered, is that dust will collect on the face of the Wave and cause real issues. So much so that I had to send it back to the manufacturer for it to be refurbished.
Don't forget, your mileage may vary. But, I think I will upgrade in the near future.
