Just keep in mind about the poison fumes and 'ALWAYS' vent the room. I would personally never use this type heater when sleeping but that is me... There are a couple of members on here that have had very bad experience with CO poisoning... These units also will eat up the oxygen from the room as well...
I ran across a CAT heater install on the internet that uses external venting that really would work great in the small floorplan for the Truck campers or the POPUP campers..

My backup heat source is a MR BUDDY single propane canister...

This type of heater is also a Catlytic heater. It does provide a venting of the Water and CO2 the Wave3 or Wave6 does not. Neither releases CO.
There are 4 things to consider with this type of heater!
1. it requires 12vdc to operate and ignite! During ignition it needs bout 5 amps for 2 min to start and .5 or less to run! It does have auto shut down if the 12vdc gets too low and will not operate.
So do not run out of battery! Wave heaters do not need any 12vdc to operate.
2. You must open vents to provide air to come into your camper for the exhaust fan to operate.... Same with the Wave but for a a similar reason... If you camper is not sealed really good then that works in both Wave and this Platcat heater. I would always open a vent and a window as specified or not.... We like fresh air!
3. You can not turn the heat down on this unit ... A wave 3 has Low and High.... 1600 btus and 3200..
4.. Providing the Vent out of the camper can be problematic depending on where you want it. Wave3 just needs a propane bottle and hose or be installed in a fixed location.
Here is a link for those interested in the the vented heater.
