The best thing you can do is go to the towing forum and there is a sticky at the very top that goes into a lot of detail and discussion on the Reese DC hitches.
Thank you, but the instructions for the dual cam round bar is different than the instructions for the round bar WITHOUT the dual cam, where the chains connect to the bars instead of the cams. With the cams, it doesn't state any number of links, as 5 links PLUS the cam brackets is more like 7 or 8 links for a non dual cam setup.
