W/D HITCH W/SWAY BAR
I have a DW Hitch with a Sway Bar, Instructions states that you can not Back up with the Sway bar Attached, Any Body Know why, Thank you. Ed

I have heard/seen that warning before. The only thing bad that could happen is with the extreme angles sometimes encountered when backing, a bar might come out of the friction pad or get stuck there and bent when straightening out. Do a simple test to see if you can duplicate that condition. Otherwise, join the majority of us who disregard that warning.
