We did it
We sold our tow vehicle. We have a 2013 Premier 32bh and our 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 just wasn't quite cutting the mustard. It towed just fine as long as the road was flat. We decided that we bet...

Gas in truck, bicycles, firewood, 3 - 5 people along with tounge weight get subtracted from payload of the TV. Your not towing this weight - your hauling it. Payload is often exceeded before towing capacity. Although the TV you mention seems more than adequate.
The 15,000# pounds that I'm referencing is the weight of the following:
TT (6500#)
Gas in truck
bicycles
firewood
food
3 - 5 people
weight of the truck itself
With our Chevy 1500 we were around 13000 to 15000 pounds. The total that the Chevy could pull (the gross weighting) was 13,000.
The TV that we're looking at are 250 diesel. According to the owners manuals the gross rating is 22,000#.
Am I misunderstanding something?
