I never weighed my old truck. The truck weighed more than I thought although that weight included Forklift frame mounts and side steps which I didn't feel like removing for the DMV tare weight. It also has the 5th wheel prep, spray in liner and most of the options Dodge offers.That could account for a small bit. The new truck does have a higher GVWR so perhaps the frame/running gear is heavier?
