Reading the numbers I appreciate my aluminum F350 more and more.
I scaled it 8000lb full of fuel, me and some tools in it.
Supercab dually but no 4WD but 5 cameras on board.
I can carry my tailgate with 1 hand, so it is probably about 40 lb.
Truck has taller bed railing than my older trucks and I had to shim it to get my camper on.
Still I wonder how long-term aluminium body will last.
We had aluminium body Mercedes that turned 12 years with no issues, even coming from "salt belt".
More lb, or less - we are all going to be happy campers.
