Skip, I picked up an inexpensive AcuRite Weather sensor that has wind speed and direction, temps, barometric pressure, etc. I am able to mount it on the camper or in the yard. It may take me a while to be somewhat accurate with our forecasts, but as you point out its educational and enjoyable.
