GaryWT, I actually think yours is a better design. Do you think you could snap a photo and send it to me? This is actually the type of info I am looking for. Mine is just double sided taped to the "channel", so when the door shuts, it "smashes" into it, forming the seal.
Yours sounds like it "clips" onto the edge or lip, with the sealing part that gets "smashed" running in the channel, and sounds like a better design overall. I know I questioned this seal when we bought the trailer, but hadn't had any issues so it was never a worry...up until I knocked it off the tape that was holding it on.
