Weatherstripping for outside compartment doors

Trailer is a Keystone 2300BH. I have one door that part of the weatherstripping is peeling off, and i'm not 100% sold on how well it seals to begin with. I've never seen or felt water in there, but...

I did the same thing and it's been fine on ours. It made the turns just fine.
