I was sure that there was no free lunch. I was doing the mind game of where did the weight go. If the majority of the weight is transferred to the front axle, the remainder had to be transferred to the trailer.
For each 1# added to the TT's axles, about 2# is added to the TV's front axle, and about 3# is removed from the TV's rear axle.
The total amount of load added must equal the amount of load removed.
The actual values will depend on TV wheelbase, ball overhang, and distance from ball to mid-point between TT's axles.
