Fact is, some systems require grease at the pivot points, some have zerk fittings to make this easier, some require a very limited application of lubrication, some spring bars hang from chains, some spring bars ride in L brackets, some spring bars deflect noticeably when properly engaged while others don't deflect at all, some spring bars are round bars while others are trunnion. ALL will have their own specific manufacturer recommendations as to the use of any lubrication, and where, so if you want to do this correctly tell us what it is! :R
