OP,
good idea to weigh the trailer , just as important to take the truck to a scale too , all loaded for a trip plus all persons on board.
Your real remaining payload will show you where the trailers tongue weight will fit into the equation.
Know the true limitations of the TV . Watch axle and tire weight ratings.
If you feel comfortable enough to move forward with this combo, i would research which type/brand of WDH will offer the best sway control towing with a relatively light combo. Some WDH's systems work better with larger heavier units.
Yes. I will be doing this for sure....The problem and why I have to be careful(Besides common sense) is that once it's over the dealership curb, you own it....anything else requires trade in with deprecation or a lawsuit...Ain't going to go there even though I'm getting it at cost.
The tongue/hitch weight once I have fresh water full will be my best gauge for that.(headed there now)
Once I'm loaded and traveling without water I'll weigh it again....Front TV, Full TV, Rear TV and trailer, and then the Trailer alone all independently done on each if possible....any and all concerns will be relieved at the point, ---or--- TV upgrade(Sigh, I absolutely love the features of the Rigeline)...lol.
Thanks for chiming in again all that I didn't address...
