Four pages of discussion and I fail to see your need for angst over "dry" tongue weight. :h CCC for either of these trailers you've mentioned is pretty meagre at just ~ 1000 lbs, which in turn means you'll most likely be running either trailer's GVW awfully close to it's GVWR anyway. Given that, and given that you know you'll want to be running gross tongue weight somewhere in the 13% to 15% of GVW, it's pretty easy to calculate how much gross tongue weight you should be running with either of these trailers, regardless of the so-called stated "dry" tongue weight. Based on a worst case scenario where GVW = GVWR that means with the Passport 153ML you'd be running somewhere between 585 to 675 lbs of gross tongue weight, with that Lance 1575 somewhere between 480 to 555 lbs of gross tongue weight. Pick what works best for you. ;)
