Weight Distribution Hitch Question

I almost always purchase tow vehicles that are more than adequate to tow without a WD hitch. Most late model GM HD pickups qualify. No need to mess with the contraptions when a well engineered and balanced trailer hitched to a competent tow vehicle will not sway, If one needs a magic hitch to control porpoising or sway, they have something wrong in their setup.

WD hitches were developed back when we towed with softly sprung sedans and station wagons. Your RAM does not fit that description but old habits are hard to break, as you are finding out.
