I have a trailer that go's about 33'from bumper to bumper and weighs in at around 9500-10k. I tow with a 2014 ram 3500. I have towed with and without a wdh (equlizer) . I much prefer towing with the WHD. It helps with sway control in windy conditions and I don't feel the trailer back there. If you already have it I'd use it.
