the tahoe has a soft suspension .
a little assist from any equalizing hitch will help you .
you can get by with a used hitch of minimum capacity .
you can adjust the chain link at a relatively loose setting .
just enough to keep you level .
you should load your trailer 10 -15% on the tongue just like the big boys for the best handling .
each pound between the trailer axle and your TV hitch is controlled weight .
Every pound behind the TT axles is uncontrolled and wants to leverage your lighter weight tow vehicle .
