I had a set of Yokohama tires that caused vibration at higher speeds. The tire shop had me come back and watch as they rotated the tire on the balance machine. They adjusted the Yokohamas for a set of Michelins.
Out of round can be seen if the tire is bouncing. Bad run out can be seen if the tread is wobbling.
As I have said before, you can balance a square tire, but it never will run smooth.
