So I compared my old truck to the new truck we have. Last one was the 2500 Mega cab but had air bags. New one 3500 crew cab does not have any. It rode great on the way to the dealership, thinking I'm going to add them as we pick up the new trailer in the morning and it weighs a bit more than the last. What do you all think. Have only towed the old trailer from our house to the dealership for repairs so approximately 40 miles with the new truck.

Looks fine to me. Our '04 F350 has factory 6 spring pack plus overload springs, sits perfectly level with our 13,000lb toyhauler. No air bags needed.

You would need at least 3500 lbs of pin weight to even begin thinking of adding bags.Your truck likely has somewhere between 3700-4200 payload, as long as your under your rating,there is nothing to be gained.

Well we pick up the new one tomorrow a Sierra 377flik

Says the weight should be 2250.
Since our other trailer gave issues all summer long we will only get maybe two more trips before we are done.
Mostly because of school for the kids and our work schedules, but we will see how it goes.

Looks normal to me, I would not spend the money unless it was really needed. Btw that's a really nice truck!

After hooking up fully loaded the truck should sit LEVEL, if so leave well enough alone!

Looks alright to me.

If it needs anything more, I would add a leaf to the overloads. It doesn't affect the unloaded ride and both raises and firms up the loaded ride.

From the pics it looks a little nose high. My personal pref would be to stiffen it up a bit. Wouldn't take much air. Some stable load type spacers would even do the trick. Just to get the overload leaf involved a little quicker.
