Well I'm rolling coal

I have always wanted a diesel truck. I never would let myself spend the money on it. I bought a 2013 ram 2500 Hemi motor last August. I have been keeping an eye on a certain truck at the dealership. It was the last 2013 diesel they had left. It was my favorite color which is silver. Yesterday they gave me a heckuva deal on it and I bought it. I do not need to diesel but since I make money I want to diesel. My camper is only 6500 pounds but I will enjoy myself pulling it. The sound of it makes me smile every time I crank it. Here's the only photo I have so far.

  • You do realize none of the new diesels 'roll coal'? Rolling coal is no longer considered cool...
  • Now you have a truck! Enjoy it, but be careful with the throttle. When you punch down on it from a dead stop, the back end can get out from under you even on DRY pavement. My trailer is @9600# and 35' long and I really like chugging along at 1600 rpm on the highway. Passing other vehicles is a breeze, and I can even get out of my own way when I need to!

Very nice !!! I like your taste in the basics as well, it's exactly what I am getting back to with my next truck. Congratuations, I know my diesel made me smile every time I stepped on it, especially with the manual transmission it had. The Ram and Cummins is also the last combination that actually sounds like it has something under the hood.
  • The problem now will be wiping that ear to ear grin off your face when towing! :)
  • Great looking truck and "IF" you want to go to a bigger, heavier TT or 5er down the road, you got the truck to go heavier without having to get a "bigger truck":). "you did well, grasshopper":)
