I already did;
The '01 Dodge quad cab 1500, 360V8, auto, 4X4 short box to replace the 3500 CTD 5 speed manual AND the Jeep Rubicon 6 speed manual; both of them are gone.
The tow bar is mounted on the Dodge, got it done this weekend.
Now to do the wiring, and it will be ready to go.
I might do a test drive first, to see how the motorhome handles towing it. If it doesn't work well, there is no use wiring it for towing!

No, I don't think so. I have been driving manual transmissions since 1958. Oh, yes, I had some slush-boxes, too, sometimes it was unavoidable. But, I always enjoyed doing my own shifting, even in the old straight tooth Ford 4 speeds that required double clutching. At one time I was pretty good at going up and down the gears in one of those things without any gear grinding!
It would be interesting to find one to drive and try it again, see if I remember how...
