In a heavy rain the water from the slide all drains and comes down pretty heavy on the outside forward slide wall. I would simulate with the hose to pinpoint where it came in. No better way to air it out than to camp in it with all the windows open.
Yes it's on the slide. We weren't in the TT so I didn't catch anything until now. I'm trying to picture what you are describing. Our slide and all windows were fully closed.
