Wall to wall motorhomes the cheapest around $75,000.00 and built like crap. My wife and I went in to several motorhomes that were 125k to 200k and she commented " what a piece of******" . There were no truck campers, no tent campers and I think two travel trailers. What a joke. Other than a retractable 50 ' water hose I purchased nothing. I walked up to the " norcold " booth thinking this guy would know something about their 12 volt compressor fridges !!! He knew that their 2 ply toilet paper was better than the 1 ply !!! What a joke. I guess I am old school but I expect the factory salesperson to know more about THEIR product than I do !!! I guess I continue to do internet searches to find what I want.
I was at the last Pomona Fairplex RV show here in southern California and found only two TC vendors, Lance, Wolf Creek and Artic Fox. I already have a 12Vdc compressor refrigerator but wanted to see if any vendor was offering this as a option, that was zero. I talked to several HM dealers and they were unaware of such a product and told me that many of them are installing residential units in their HM instead of absorption units not only due to the cost of absorption, but due to performance issues with the absorption.
I did talk to the TC vendors and the Lance people weren't even interested, but the guy (didn't get his name) was very interested and didn't known how efficient the 12Vdc units are, he told me he will personally look into those type of refrigerators, anything to improve their TCs.
This was the first time I got to see the Artic Fox and Wolf Creek and did like their lay outs of their campers. As for Lance they still need to get rid of those big round kitchen sink, I personally don't like them.
Like the OP said not much new and very few support vendor were there at Pomona FairPlex show that I attended.
