You might try South of Missoula as well from Lolo South. There is a lot of NF land East/West of 93. Do bring your bear spray. Lots of have been seen this year. Sorry that I can't be more help.
Most of the Western Montana rivers have been running high, so I don't know if you are expecting that or not. In the area of my ranch, a few people lost their driveways. I don't know what shape the roads are in, but you should check that as well.
I might camp next weekend, or maybe I'll just get by another week in the construction zone called remodeling where I am at the moment. ;)
