Pouring rain, just got to CG but not yet to site. Tight turn and the power steering pump gave up on my 2001 Sierra. I discovered at the next stop that the brake pump is part of the power steering pump. I had to use the trailer brakes to stop the truck LOL. Limped the trailer into the site, called a tow truck, nearest town 20 minutes away. This was a Friday night, the only shop in town wasn't open Sat-Sun so they didn't see my truck until Monday. Parts arrived on Wednesday, got my truck back Thursday after taking a taxi from the CG to town. Stranded at our campsite for nearly 6 days of a 9 day trip. We did lots of boating, biking, and hiking during that trip.
