I broke one of the small plastic twist lock clips that hold the plastic vent cover on the outside of the RV where the refrigerator is. I don't even know what they are called but the dealer wants 2.50 ...

Your initial post portrayed you as most replied - cheap. However, your follow-up where you further explained that you would consider buying a bag of the clips, if available, makes perfect sense. If you had completed your thought in the first posting, I imagine there would have been no disparaging comments. I keep telling my DW to share her entire thought with me, so I don't misinterpret. I think this was the same situation.
Good luck in future posts. By the way, I did a search online, and did not find a source for bags of the clips.
I guess you are right. I will be more cautious with my wording next time. I just don't get why forums are designed so that people can help each other, yet some want to do nothing but disparage. Anyway, it's no biggie. Thanks to all that posted an informative response.
