I have posted this before but it is worth
reposting for those who care.
As you can see there is not a bad oil in the bunch, pick your poison. The NAPA oil should be very similar or exactly the same as Valvoline Blue. The Lucas oil has an advisory but it is because the 15w-40 tests as a 10w-40. NBD but not within labeling standards.
Before anyone starts bagging on base numbers, I think that it is to hard to categorize an oil by its starting TBN.
Here I have an oil with a starting TBN of 9.09 and after 9500 miles it only dropped to 5.75


If it was not for the damn fuel dilution I think this could have been a 20k oil. At least 15k. I am switching to dino FWIW.
