Rotella T-6 full syn.
I used Rotella T 15/40 for years until 2 years ago. I was in Wyoming and it fell to -10 with no place to plug the truck in, when I started the 7.3 the next morning it spit and sputtered, rocked, smoked until the oil thinned out then it smoothed out. I switched to T-6 SYN. and this last winter when I started it below -0 it purred like a kitten.....Sold on T-6 full syn. !
Nothing better than a FULL synthetic for severe cold weather.
My F-350 fired right up at -9 with regular Super Tech 15W-40!
Compare the specs of Full synthetic to yours, there is a big difference.
Don't personally know of any full synthetic 15w-40 but if he wants to compare to other 15w-40's he can look here
PQIAI think these days there are very few HDEO full synthetics on the market (type IV and/or type V). Most are hydro-cracked type III oils which is just a mineral oil.
