As someone that has towed thru the Sierras many times with my hybrid, I would never tow one with vehicle limited to 3500lbs.
You are limited to only the smallest hybrids, which always have poor CCC amounts.
And vehicles like yours usually have frontal area limits which a hybrid will exceed.
Can you do it? Possibly.
But the wear and tear on your Kia may not be worth it.
