Used properly, a cover will not damage your TT. Claims of scuffing due to wind blown covers point to incorrectly secured covers or a covering not made specifically for a TT/RV. Not lasting long refers to holes punched in the cover from sharp edges like door stops and gutter downspouts not being covered with something as simple a piece of swim noodle. As dadmomh correctly points out, the ADCO covers are soft and made of a breathable material. They are also vented. My TT gets covered (with an ADCO cover) the same day I put it in storage, and it is clean and shiny when I go to get it.
