Thats funny if you start to raise ours its hard to start with but then it flys up fast and hard, and when you put it down you have to push hard and then watch out it will slam lol.

Replacement gas springs are cheap. Just google "Automotive gas springs" or go to a local auto supply and get stronger springs. I had just the opposite problem, I could lift it with one finger but almost had to call for help to get it down. You might need to change the location of the attach points.

just replaced tires with GY G614's an replaced the flat screen TV plus DW got a electric mattress pad,should be good to go

Replaced the one 12 volt battery with two Trojan T105s. Next will be a smart charger to keep them in tip top shape. O yeah also gave it a bath and a kiss.

Got 4 more LED lights to replace the others. Got new stands for the corners instead of the pull down stabilizers. And a new grill for cooking over a fire.

Scares the mice away.

Let's see...the bed got new sheets for Christmas, a friend gave us an antigue-looking brass lantern that matches our string lights. Planned a mod to make the dinette table movable. Will wash and wax her when it's a bit warmer. Come on Spring!Walked through a few days ago and found a dead mouse in the minnowtrap! Gotta get the peppermint oil refreshed ASAP!

I just bought some new sheets and I hope they work the way they're supposed to:

Platform Bed - No Tuck Bed Sheets

The top sheet is sewn onto the fitted sheet and it's not supposed to pull out of the bedding.

When I receive them, I'll try them out and report back on the comfort and durability of the sheets, etc.
