- BourbonRamExplorerGot on the roof and blew off the oak tree flowers.
- BeachumsExplorerJust finished adding a low profile lockable aluminum truck tool box to the tongue. I then added two group 27 106 amp/hr batts for a total of 212 amp/hr of of capacity. I also connected a isolation switch to the batteries. This allowed me to run EQUAL length battery cables to the switch which ensures equal loading across both batteries. With a flip of the swtich, I can isolate the batteries from the chassis. I then wired in two quick disconnects for my battery tenders. I can charge them independently which is better in the long run.
In short, no more disconnecting wires whenever I go to the storage building.
I also installed a Hengs fan upgrade in the bathroom. The friggin thing pulls the door shut when it's on. - jamnwExplorerBroke it in right by going camping in mid-March. Land Between the Lakes was awesome, even if it did rain like crazy one day, snowed a bit, got down to 25F.
But it was nice!
Found a leak in skylight, so I have resealed the roof, so far so good no leaks in the monsoons we've had in my area.
I've been in the MOD MOOD.
Built a new medicine cabinet out of used pallet wood.
Cost me paint, screws, hinges and hasps. Maybe $20.
Put in refrigerator cooling coil fans.
Cost me $10. Got the fans for free, wire was scrap, and switch was scrap, had to buy the thermostat.
I just received my LED strip light to put under the awning. Can't wait to get that thing up! - limberyExplorerTook mine into the shop for a 160W solar panel install.... then while at the shop decided to have them put on a power jack since it was already there (thought I deserved a treat!)
- Desert_CaptainExplorer IIIWe returned yesterday from a four day trip up to Canyon Pt. Three of the four days we had high wind/Red Flag Warnings and the ride up and back were in 25 to 35 mph winds gusting higher. The TT pulled just fine but our mileage took a hit down to 11 from the usual 12.5 average. We came home pretty dusty so baby got a bath and some wax (Nu Finish Polish), this morning while my bride cleaned the interior.
Sadly it is about time to put her away for most if not all of the summer as I have my second (of possibly three), knee surgeries scheduled for May 17th. Not likely we can get out again... but maybe. :h - shadow1148ExplorerI just got home from Melbourn Fl. 9 days of Viet Nam reunion.

For no reason, i just went out and drank a beer in it.
I thought I was the only one that did silly thingslike that. We also used ours for christmas storage and my wife had be kick on the heater and went out and did all her Christmas wrapping in it this year. A bottle of wine her and the neighbor left to wrap the kids Christmas. - bfourmanExplorerSet up my new WDH and bought rubbermaid totes for hoses and extension cords.
- jbrowningExplorerA friend of mine will be coming over in 3 hours to put in a grey holding tank (my 1971 Terry didn't come with one). We will be checking the plumbing, installing the toilet, dewinterizing it, putting on new fender skirts (bye bye old plywood skirts that are on her). Then see about being able to pop out a window and putting a screen window in it when I want to. Then get my class on how to use everything then it is off to the races come next Friday! I can't wait,
Oh and my sister will be out looking for a spice rack to mount to the inside kitchen cabinet door
Jim - tragusa3ExplorerJust ordered our grey water tote and picked up a few fresh water tanks! No conserving water this year!
