PS almost forgt I put in the PD9270 as well - Roadrash450ExplorerSo far I've done 60% of the mods from pages 1 to 25 of Cool Mods Thread
Gonna half to work a second job to get to complete up to 199:E - fourboysdadExplorerWe just got done adding a gravel parking pad for our TT and then it was time to get a few projects done on the TT itself.
We plan to do some dry camping so we added some tap lights and are also researching the best LED bulbs to replace the current ones.
We decided to carpet the floor. That may sound weird, but we used 19x19 rubber backed carpet tiles. They don't absorb water, are very durable, clean up quick, and are super easy to install. a carpenter's square, tape measure, and a utility knife. They aren't glued down...they have sticky tabs that attach to the underside corner of each tile which keeps it together and then the walls brace them. it's done and looks pretty decent. The camper is pretty much packed up and ready to go! This time of year is great! Happy trails!
D - WoodGlueExplorerMbopp, nice bumper mod. How much does the whole thing weigh?
WoodGlue - mboppExplorerWe have yet to take the maiden voyage in the new TT. But I've been busy converting the light fixtures to LED's, making a new battery tray for 2 batteries and cut-off switch, put a full length mirror on the bathroom door, added a 110AC outlet above the kitchen counter, put some puck lights in the base cabinets, added a storage box on the rear bumper, and made some wheel chocks.
Mods - Desert_CaptainExplorer IIITaking our TT out for some fun. We are headed up to Canyon Point on the Mogollon Rim northeast of Payson AZ. Lots of climbing to get there as the CG sits at 7,700' right at the top of the Rim. The last 5 or 6 miles are all straight up an 8% grade but it is good two lane (each way). Hopefully the Black bears won't be an issue like they were last summer. :E
The trailer is our front, freezer and frig nicely chilled down, just have to finish loading the truck and we are outta here. Well, maybe a cup of coffee first. :B - ccarrington99ExplorerWe found a great deal on a sleep number bed on Craig's list and could not get that factory queen mattress out fast enough. Sleep's great!
- ADK_CamperExplorerBetween camping trips my camper is parked on the lawn beside my garage where the ground is not level. I had to drive the low side up on blocks every time I parked it. I solved this problem with four 2 foot square stepping stones. I place one at each tire and used fill to get them level. Now I just aim for the stepping stones and when alll four wheels hit the camper is level.
- WoodGlueExplorerRoad XYZ, it is a fun thread isn't it! Motivates a person to improve their trailer and gives folks a chance to show off their hard and clever work!

Lots to do on the trailer today. Rinsed the water heater out, replaced anode rod, filled propane tanks, << skipped>>
Couldn't find the anode rod so bought another one plus a spare .. so now have two spares after Hubby drained the water heater, and replaced anode ...
Also new tires ... Hubby kept saying "next time we move, will get the other two tires we need" .. well a year went by and finally I said "please just call the tire store and pay for a service call here at the RV park" .. we have are now the owners of a TT with four new tires .. two last year, two this year.
And us also .. if it gets warm and stays warm for a couple of days will be sprucing up the outside with a good wash & perk up.
We are full-timers but still these little "chores" need to be done routinely. Have already cleaned out the storage pass-thru areas.
So good to come here and see what others are doing to their TTs.
