With a bigger truck! See sig.
Fiver has a GVWR of 20k.
Head on over to the Escapees Heavy Duty Truck forum and do some reading.
Class 8 trucks can be licensed as an RV in many states and are far more capable, comfortable and safer than a dually pickup. Find the right one and it can be considerably cheaper as well!
The BIG 3 each offer 1 ton dually's that can handle 20,000# GVW 5er's today....With that offering, it makes it a little easier to get around after one has parked their 5er, detach their truck and can go almost anywhere they want...It's rare when I see these big rigs towing a 5er that they have a very small car setting on the tow rig and are able to use a Smart car or something like that after they've set up the 5er...most DON'T have that extra little car.
My 1 ton crew cab, long bed 4X4 dually with 4:10 has a GVWR of 14,000#, has a GCWR of 37,500# and a rear axle weight rating of 9750#. AAM rates the axle with 300mm set up at 11,800#.....So there are dually's out there today that can tow 20,000# safely....I don't have the HP a HDH has, but at 385HP and 850lb-ft of TQ, the truck has never lacked in power.
....and I can go to restaurants, stores and even take my truck through drive thru's and other than parking a little further out at times...Big thing is I can use the 1 ton crew cab dually after I've parked my truck cruising around checking out the sights.
