The Ford diesel is heavy, and uses up more payload than the 6.2 gas. Opinions vary, but mine is that you need to be mostly concerned with the RAWR of the SRW F350. A heavy FW will put the pin wt right over the rear axle, with very little being added to the front axle, that supports the heavy diesel.
If you were going to haul a heavy TC in that F350, the payload would be a bigger consideration, and the F350 DRW a likely requirement.
The weight FW you are talking about, should be under the RAWR of a new F350. If you do get a little more squat than you like, you can add air bags to level the load.
