We went from SRW F350 to DRW GMC 3500 and yes there is a difference. The SRW pulled great and I felt comfortable towing with it. The DRW the stability was night and day better. Side wind loads not even noticed and side to side lateral movement seems non existant unlike the SRW.
The SRW is definitely easier to deal with on a daily basis but our truck is used only to pull our fiver and other trailer. Can't have too much truck.
