I just traded my 5.7 1500 Hemi. I have a trailer with a max weight of 6800 pounds. Last time I weighed it I was at 5200 pounds. I just bought a 2500 Hemi for this reason. We were over payload on almost every trip we made. I will probably never own another half ton truck as long as we are pulling a camper. As far as the hemi motor, it pulls the wheels off of the camper.
