What do you use as the "length of your travel trailer"?

So I've noticed that a lot of manufacturers use their model number as an indication of length which is normally different than what's in the TT specifications of "length". Example: The Jayco Jay FLig...

Mine is a 245BHS and the box itself is 24'6". I guesstimate 28' when reserving.

However, in the 100+ campsites I've been on, all but 1-2 had at least a 10' buffer in the site size. So I will fudge some if necessary and it always works out.
