What do you use as the "length of your travel trailer"?

So I've noticed that a lot of manufacturers use their model number as an indication of length which is normally different than what's in the TT specifications of "length". Example: The Jayco Jay FLig...

I go ball to bumper, and add 3 feet. I don't want a site that I have to shoe horn it in. One campground in AZ, I told them 24 feet, and he said I had to be 25 to stay there, so I grew a foot.
