Good morning Need some info on a 1977 pickup camper equipped with bathroom do not know the brand or model. There is a ad here where the guy wants to give it away the pics. Of it look good less back ...

The ad (Clicky) says $0. but then it says "make offer" in the description, so maybe it's not free. I guess you talked to the guy, so it's FREE:)
And, for what it's worth, a 36 year old camper will not be worth the money you put into it......but it will probably make a nice little hobby that you can sink money into, if you want that sort of thing.
I wouldn't trust the utility trailer.....they are good for about 1000 pounds....maybe more for a short trip....basically just the lawn tractor or some ATVs.
If it will fit in the short bed (with gate down), that would probably be the way I'd go. Get a piece of angle iron and 2x4s with eye bolts from HD, and some cargo straps, and strap it into the back of the truck....and drive home carefully.:)
