What does length mean?
Sorry, I have spent significant time reading online and still haven't found this answer. If a TC is 11'6" or whatever length, what, exactly, does that mean? What is that length?

Usually TCs are measured based on the length of the floor. An 11' 6" unit would stick out 3' 6" beyond an 8' truck bed or 5' 6" longer than a 6' bed.
