Yeah, I would not ask the dealer to let me take it to the scale. I also understand to consider the GVW as the trailer won't be towed empty. However, I believe it is reasonable to know the true as built weight of a unit as it sits on the lot. Conventional wisdom says Gross less cargo capacity equals dry weight. Outdoor Rv is telling me through the dealer that Gross less cargo sticker, less propane, less full water equals dry weight. Are they lying? If they are lying, then filling this thing with water only leaves 428 lbs cargo capacity, I thought this brand had custom, heavy duty frames and chassis???????
