What happens when you lose a tire at 70-75 MPH?

With the right equipment... Nothing.:B At least as far as safety goes. We just returned from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Upon parking in front of our house, we were shocked to find a passenge...

I pulled a PUP from MN to IN. I drove out of the inner and outer bearing, melted the plastic hub cover, burned up the brake, cracked the hub casting and never knew a thing until I stopped about 20 miles from home for a detour.

Cruising along at 60 to 65 mph. dumb and happy and very lucky. Sometimes stuff just happens.
