What happens when you lose a tire at 70-75 MPH?

With the right equipment... Nothing.:B At least as far as safety goes. We just returned from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Upon parking in front of our house, we were shocked to find a passenge...

I don't think that any tire should be run close to it's max. That means that ST tires at 55 are not for me. I run LTs rated for 95.
