If the dealer can order one, he can also cut a deal with the dealer 3 hours away. Tell your dealer to make an inquiry with the other dealer and figure out a deal. After that you will have several choices and can figure out which way you want to go. I think it's safe to say your dealer will work to make "his customers" happy before he works on a rig bought 3 hours away. Not to say he won't work on it, just that it won't be a high priority.
