Locally there are a number if dealers so the competition can be rather steep. Therefore, like the automobile dealers, the service and repair departments are the cash cows.
As a result the local dealers welcome all service and repair work. It is safe to assume the they give preference to their regular customers but I doubt if they would turn down any service opportunity. Warranty work maybe another issue.
